Hi, I just realized another good potential use for this feature request: you could loop over a range and progressively add notes to a midi clip - that way you could program beats like you do in hydrogen and seq24, which is very fast and intuitive.

Have you had more trials and errors with this? :)

Also, for the workaround, how can I select overlapping clips? I can select them by Ctrl clicking them but that of course works only if they don't overlap.
