even though you say qtractor is targeted to a home studio crowd, i see alot of potencial in it becoming for pro users.
maybe you could consider something like this: http://www.indiegogo.com/OPEN-OCTAVE-STUDIO-You-are-the-music-We-are-the... for qtractor, especially for syncing audio and video.
