oh yes,

the Edit/Select Mode/Automation cursor is exactly the same as the toolbar icon; one thing to note is that the cursor hotspot is located at pixel (7, 6), hard-coded to the current native icon (ie. "editSelectCurve").

ps. however: if you really have a better proposal for the cursor/icon bitmap, I'm all ears, pardon me, eyes ;)
