most probably due to the way qtractor:Connections, qjackctl:Connections (also Graph) and also qpwgraph copes when changing the number of ports on same client or node: it doesn't do it very well, most especially when reducing the port count, no so much when increasing it.

I'd suggest you just ignore this bug as it won't get solved any time soon, I guess ;)
