to tell the truth they are both totally fake!

they are not real compressor nor limiter in the traditional sense of dynamic range controls, whatsoever...

IRL the "compressor" is actually a bass booster and the "limiter" is actually a sigmoid waveshaper kinda "valve sound" saturator.

they kept those fake names stoically from the "proto-toys era", a dozen years ago...
