https://www.vgmpf.com/Wiki/images/6/68/DX-Ball_%28W32%29.zip there are .mds MIDI Stream files https://www.vgmpf.com/Wiki/index.php?title=MDS , as this link suggests, I successfully played a .mds file by foobar2000 & foo_midi https://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_midi , on Arch Linux KDE via Steam Proton Experimental.
The question: can Qtractor play a .mds file? I tried without success. Or feature request: .mds file support?
re. .mds MIDI Stream file?..
.mds are not SMF (Standard MIDI File) so, nope.
is it clear enough?
re. .mds MIDI Stream file?..
ok, too bad... I tried https://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_dsp_vst3 without success, it works not...
Can you convert it offline?

According to https://www.vgmpf.com/Wiki/index.php?title=DX-Ball_(W32)#Game_Rip : already converted by MIDIPLEX.
Anyway I tried this mds2midi.py on https://www.vgmpf.com/Wiki/images/6/68/DX-Ball_%28W32%29.zip , /Originals/Acker-gs.mds : the output .mid file has exactly the same size as /06 - Ackerlight.mid .
Acker-gs.mds : 81.1 kiB, 06 - Ackerlight.mid : 40.4 kiB , is it a lossy or lossless conversion?
