[SOLVED] Grid not shown in default theme

In the default theme I cannot see the grid lines in the piano roll for a clip.

If I select the Style theme "Wonton Soup" I can see the grid lines (View > Snap > Grid).

(Also, I think the grid option -- which is really nice -- is a bit hidden in the Snap menu.)

See attachments of the two themes.

Running Debian 9 with XFCE and standard xfce-theme.

hi again,
it's all actually dependent on the system default color theme in use, of xfce in your case.
you can workaround of by just creating/defining your own color theme palette, possibly based on the system default one or else: just click on the "ellipsis" button on the immediate right to the color theme drop-down box and there you'll have all the freedom to make and name your own ;)...
hth.
cheers

Great!

I experimented a bit. The grids are drawn using the Window color, and the background using the Base color.

Making the Base color even darker makes for a pleasant Piano roll grid! :)
