Request for Mixer Features
The more I learn, the more time I spend in the mixer...
1. Ability to rename inserts. For example, I might have an insert going to 1 of several delays (I host my plugins outside of Qtractor, in a single Carla Session). Would love to be able to call it something of my choosing in order to better keep track of things. Being able to quickly know what exactly an insert is (based off name) would speed things up when copying to other output channels.
2. Some reliable way to 0 the slider on a given channel. Perhaps +click somewhere in the channel or something.
3. Finer control over what is displayed in the mixer itself. I personally have no need for "Tracks" as well as MIDI Inputs/Output buses. Ideally, I'd love to be able to see my Audio buses on top and Audio Outs on the bottom. Right now, there's no way to do that.

none at this time, and not easy to accomplish so soon or in the near future, sorry.

middle-click on a slider takes the value to 0dB (or 100%) immediately. maybe that's what you've been missing?
3. Finer control over what is displayed in the mixer itself.
you can always click-and-drag on the respective captions, to detach the "Inputs" and "Outputs" panes, then you may leave them floating standalone or re-attach then around on any other side of the Mixer window: they are dockable widgets, do you remember? though, the "Tracks" pane can only be resized into a one-strip-wide minimum though, but I'm sure you can live with that ;)

Glad to hear there's something to quickly get a slider back to 0db. Sounds like it would be easy enough to make it more user-friendly though? Last time I middle clicked on something was probably over 20 years ago :)
About the widgets... yes, I knew inputs and outputs are detachable but it's really not that flexible and ends up just being a bit cumbersome to work with.
