yes, it might have been solved ,very recently though:

svn trunk rev.3709 aka. v0.5.12.2 (you can grab it from latest snapshot if you dare :)

believe it or not, the (heisen)bug was there lurking for ages, maybe ever since audio clip merge inception (ca. 2009+?)
