re. Silent video demonstration...
wow, looks good
please consider to add all this new content to the wiki as well.
thanks again
cheers
thank you!
thank you!
(i also did some minor changes to Unofficial tutorials that are worthwhile page )
and then why silent?
maybe some subtitles at least would be welcome...
I mean, being just silent is probably not doing the best job or PR for this kind of software, don't you think? ;)
cheers
appreciate the feedback!
thanks for the feedback.
i did make a follow up of sorts that does have sound (no voiceover or narration tho) : https://youtu.be/Vh9ht9tu_kc
as for "why", the features overview wasn't really meant for "learning" Qtractor but for someone that might be considering trying Qtractor and wants a quick visual overview of some available features. That said, I do see your point. I should have at least enabled sound from qtractor itself. On the Reddit version, there is text description on most of the videos. (https://www.reddit.com/r/Qtractor/comments/1kx7jdg/qtractor_features_overview_videos_text/ )
Again, thank you for the feedback. I'm new to all this and am still learning.
I understand the point
Hi @rounakagag:
I understand the approach and purpose of the videos, and I think they serve their purpose.
A quick, graphic overview of the features.
Would a "demo reel" with audio, narration, text, zooms, graphics, and animations have been better? Of course... But creating something like that could take weeks or months...
You've put a proposal on the table for something that would be helpful but didn't exist. Now maybe someone will take over and create a more elaborate "demo reel".
(I'm certainly tempted by a project like this, but as I said, it would be a huge effort.)
Thanks for the initiative and enthusiasm.
Hi. I tried to implement…
Hi. I tried to implement some of the suggestions into this new Qtractor video tutorial series.
There is no voiceover/narration, so not sure how useful or not it will be.
But there is sound from Qtractor and on screen text step by step guide (especially for part 1) accompanying the screen recordings.
these can be found on the r/Qtractor subreddit
