  1. Would it be worth leaving only that "external UI" officially?

nope. X11 is actually the official LV2 UI to let hosts embed the GUI in their own windows; the so called "external UI" forces to its own top-level window and on some (other) hosts it won't work at all.

  1. The first time "(none)" appears... This happens both when opening the plugin's file manager and with dragged and dropped files.

yes, confirmed--will try to fix that soon...
UPDATE: now maybe fixed on drumkv1.lv2 >= v1.4.1.1git.97c850 [develop]
