Hi, I've checked back on the plugins after a long time, and I'm glad to see how it progressed - especially the addition of drumkv1!
Here are some suggestions - what I miss:
1)! Controls units (preferrably both musical and scientific units) - I especially miss this with the octave, tuning knobs.
2) Overall documentation - for example it is not clear what whole DEF1 section does - is it sensitivity to the MIDI messages? (range <100-x, 100>)
Your recent stuff like v1 all works great, but the knobs in qsynth go in reverse when using scroll-wheel to adjust them!
Thanks for all your great work!
Hi all.
I've got a problem with AVlinux6 (and only with it), qsynth starts; show midi connexions, but no audio out.
This without modify any parameters and also checks them.

Thanks for all advices.
Hello,
I am playing with microtuning and found out how to load alternative tunings into fluidsynth. This works too by starting qsynth in the commandline, but only for one fluidsynth instance.
here is an example:
bluesscream@T410L:~$ qsynth '/home/bluesscream/soundfonts/gamelan-perunggu-sf2/gamelan perunggu.sf2' '/home/bluesscream/scala/sysex122/gamelan_udan.mid'
Hi
Not sure if this the right forum, but I just installed Ubuntu Studio 12.04 and I have som delay in the QSynth parts running Qtractor. I have the same settings as i have in Ubuntu Studio 11.10.
Any ideas where to look, tweak or something I missed?
I use JackCtl, QSynth and QTractor as is from 12.04. I built the QTractor in 11.10.

So, to work with my microtonal keyboard from H-Pi, I need instruments with two features:
1. adjustable PB range (specifically to get +/- 1 semitone)
2. multi-channel input where each channel doesn't affect the others (including pitch-bend affecting only each channel) — ideally where sound settings can still be changed globally.
Pianoteq is the only option I've got fully working.
Hi Rui,
Thanks for Qsynth. I could never use FluidSynth without the interface, not in a thousand years... That being said there is one last obstacle to overcome: getting sound out of it... I use it under UbuntuStudio 10.10. I pretty much manage to get everything working (eventually), Hydrogen, Ardour, Rakarrak, Guitarix, Zynaddsubfx. And I did get sound out of Qsynth with VMPK (virtual keyboard), and it is sooooooo nice, but as soon as I plug in my M-Audio Keyrig49, the thing goes silent.
any plans for implementing jack_session in qsynth ?

Hi,
I certainly do not claim to be a graphic artist but as a big-time fan and user of Qsynth I made a custom icon for it in AV Linux and thought I'd put it here if anyone was interested in an alternate icon.
