qSynth 0.3.6 Windows Crashing on launch

Forums

Hello,

I have been using qSynth (from the installer on the sourceforge page) for a while now, and recently I changed a setting by accident. This caused the program to crash, and it has been crashing on launch ever since, meaning I cannot access the application. I have looked this up, and have found the location of the config file on linux, $HOME/.config/rncbc.org/Qsynth.conf . However, I have no idea where to find this file on windows (I have looked in %APPDATA% among other obvious places), so I cannot reset the settings to the default and get the program working again.

disable mod wheel in Qsynth

Forums

Hi! I am trying to use Qsynth with the Calf Plugin. I want to use my Modulation Wheel to control Calf without having the Mod Wheel affect Qsynth. How can i disable the Mod Wheel in Qsynth, or what command do I use in terminal to start Qsynth with the Mod Wheel completely disabled? (In fact, how would i disable the sustain pedal if I wished?)

Thanks!

qsynth failed to create audio driver

Forums

fluidsynth works fine with:
fluidsynth -a pulseaudio -o audio.alsa.device=hw:1 -m alsa_seq -l -i .fonts/FluidR3_GM.sf2 Music/teddybear.mid
qsynth fails with:
Qsynth1: Failed to create the audio driver (pulseaudio).
I've tried to use setup to set everything in Qsynth the same as the fluidsynth settings but something isn't right. Any suggestion?
runnning fedora 17. I'm aiming for the simplest setup possible: one user, one input, one output.
Thanks,
Dave
