not going into etymological detail or discussion (no spanish/castillian speaker here :)) I'll have to agree that "portamento" is not the same as "pitchbend" on any means whatsoever...

but, as a genuine speaker and (mother?) taught in the language, more importantly in the technical slang perhaps, you ought to know better (than me of course):

in my own limited knowledge, thoughts and sentiments, if a local term or any term or terminology is not really used to mean the very same thing in the technical field at hand (ie. synths), it should remain in its original form untranslated (ie. "pitchbend")
