i assume you mean Qtractor :)
That's right, Qtractor, how dumb of me :P

does changing the velocity of a selection group (shift+drag top-edge vertically) help in any way?
i know this parameter percentage is misleading and i guess the other option (absolute value, 0-127) is a better one to try :)
Indeed, shift + drag top-edge works great! And now that I know about the shortcut, it is great friends with absolute value normalization :) Both of them solve almost all of my problems!

Feature request: A tool directed to fine tune the velocity of a group of notes at once...
can you elaborate in more detail?

There is still one that I wold find useful: Is there any way to select a group of notes and force their velocities to interpolate between two given values? Or to accomplish a similar result (specially in a group of constant velocity notes) by inserting a group of volume controllers (sorry, this is the right terminology and I didn't use it), also ranging between two values?

whenever you stop playback a ALL_SOUNDS_OFF and ALL_NOTES_OFF is sent out and this is what a "panic" button would do. it just happens that not all synths respond to these with the desired behavior (shutting up all the pending voices). however, this shouldn't be an issue with synth plugins: is that your case?
Yes I have this issue with my fluidsynth plugin dealing with previously triggered volume controllers, and with the MIDI input (specially with the MIDI input). I'm considering rising Jack's latency (currently at 21.3 ms), but it is not always due to xruns, so I'm a bit clueless about this one.

Thanks!
