i seem to have found the culprit in my case. not sure if it's the same one of yours...

my case, where tempo was bumping in and there while playback was rolling, is somewhat due to external JACK transport sync.

funny (or not) fact, is that qtractor sometimes (quite randomly) gets confused by its own tempo/time-sig changes and in despair it blames as being issued externally and bang! changes the current running tempo time-sig as is. no questions asked.

anyway, it's been hopefully mitigated on v0.5.11.32+. but.... given its rare and unpredictable behavior i'd ask you humbly to whether it might be also your case.
