I believe I know the answer to this one, just want to make sure: VST plugins with 64 bit Qtractor are a no go, right? Are there any 64bit native plugins at all?
Yes, you're correct. Native VSTs must be built and linked as 64bit objects to be loaded in a 64bit host. The few existing ones are good old 32bit (i386).
Try asking in the JUCETICE forum whether there are any pre-built ones. Maybe there are, only not publicized
